ABOUT US

We are located in the heart of Harrisburg, the capitol of Pennsylvania purposed to reveal the heart of the Father to the region as ambassadors of Jesus Christ.

Our Foundational Scripture

Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. 2 Corinthians 5:20 (KJV)

Our Vision

Impacting the world and empowering the community with authentic worship and relevant word which equips the Body of Christ for holistic ministering to meet holistic needs.

Our Mission

Re-presenting the message of the King to the world through the love of Jesus Christ. Our approach to ministry is Worship, Word, and Ministry!

Worship: Authentic worship that welcomes everyone into the presence of the Lord allowing the liberty of praise to flow and the prophetic to be released.
Word: Creative proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through innovative ways to reach the lost, empower the reached, and release the trained.
Ministry: Prayer for the bound to be delivered, the sick to be healed, the blind to see, physical needs to be met, and for the fruit of their encounter with the Lord to remain.

HISTORY OF KINGDOM EMBASSY

In August 1, 1999, Harambee United Church of Christ received a new leader. This congregation approximately 165 strong purposed to live and not die, forged forward to serve the community, its heritage, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Church grew and a new vision began to be shaped under the leadership of the new pastor. In 2003, the Church went through a teaching series regarding The Church that Jesus Built. This was a time of divine revelation that began a spiritual revolution in the ministry.

Through much praying and studying the Church began to be transformed by the Word of God. People began to discover their purpose in God, in the Church, and at large.

January 9, 2005, the Spirit of the Lord confirmed the apostolic anointing on the leadership and the ministry during an In-Reach Service.

The Pastor and the congregation began studying the gifts of the Spirit as in Ephesians 4 and the operation of the five-fold ministry in the 21st century. All of which prepared the ministry for the birthing of the apostolic ministry on January 13, 2006 through powerful services held during our annual In-Reach services.

On January 28, 2006, a meeting was called with the leadership of the Church to implement Gods standards of order for protocol and leadership, as well as restructuring of ministries to provide a better foundation for ministry growth and advancement of the Kingdom. Services were adjusted to align with the vision God had inspired the ministry to be a church that Jesus built. This interpreted to mean following Matthew 28 regarding the Great Commission and apostolic ministry.

January 31, 2007, during the Annual Church Meeting the vision was discussed with the membership as well as what it meant for the church to move in the apostolic anointing and what it meant to be a church that was an apostolic training center.

April 29, 2007 during the 11:15 a.m. service, Pastor Brenda Alton received the new name for the church through the Holy Spirit. At the end of the service she pronounced it to the congregation Kingdom Embassy, a church that would serve the community as an Apostolic Training Center.

September 30, 2007 the congregation voted with discernment to withdraw from the denomination of the United Church of Christ, to be a non-denominational church, and to be named Kingdom Embassy, an Apostolic Training Center. Prayerfully, we will continue to seek the Lord as to His desire regarding affiliation with another assembly in the Body of Christ.

January 18, 2008 we were incorporated as Kingdom Embassy and on March 6-9, 2008 held our Sending Forth Ceremonies as we invited all to Witness a Kingdom Shift!
